Dua Lipa Named YSL Beauty’s Global Makeup Ambassador

YSL Beauty has announced Dua Lipa as its new Global Makeup Ambassador.

The Grammy Award-winning singer, who has been the face of the YSL Libre fragrance franchise since 2019, is expected to bring her edgy influence to the French beauty brand.

“For me, fragrances and makeup are another form of self-expression, a way to explore my playfulness, my creativity and my individuality. I am thrilled to be on this journey as part of the YSL Beauty family.” said Lipa.

This announcement comes a week after YSL underwent a complete social media reset in the hopes of appealing to a younger generation of beauty consumers.

“Dua Lipa brings an electrifying energy to our brand, inspiring women to not just wear makeup, but to make a statement about who they are and what they stand for.” said Stephan Bezy, International General Manager, YSL Beauty.

Lipa’s first role as Global Makeup Ambassador will be starring in a campaign for LOVESHINE, YSL’s new lip franchise that will encompass three different unique formulas. The first will be Candy Glaze, the brand’s existing viral plumping lip gloss stick, followed by the all-new Lip Oil Stick. The third, set to launch later this year, is unknown but described in a statement as an “innovative and caring” lip product.

The new Loveshine Lip Oil Stick will launch online on March 15th and in-store at the end of March.
