New York Members-Only Wellness Club Goes Global

The Well New York City

Wellness-focused members club, The Well, is set to expand its global presence by launching its first European site in Geneva, set to open in 2026.

Since its inception in New York City in 2019, The Well has become a pioneer in the socially driven wellness space, led by founders Rebecca Parekh, Sarrah Hallock, and Kane Sarhan. Renowned for its innovative approach to wellness, The Well offers an extensive range of services including bodywork, facials, health coaching, and mindful movement, complemented by advanced healing modalities like vibrational energy healing, Chinese medicine, and IV vitamin therapy.

The Well’s Visiting Masters Program continually draws globally renowned healers and practitioners, enriching the wellness experiences of both guests and members. The expert advisory team features notable specialists including Chief Medical Officer Frank Lipman, MD., Sports Medicine Advisor Keith Pyne, DC., and Chinese Medicine Advisor Aimee Raupp, MS., LAc.

Currently, The Well operates four facilities globally, including its New York flagship and three others in collaboration with Auberge Resorts Collection: The Well at Mayflower Inn in Washington, Connecticut; The Well at Hacienda AltaGracia in Pérez Zeledón, Costa Rica; and The Well at Chileno Bay in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The upcoming Geneva site will introduce a premier wellness destination nestled in a beautifully renovated hotel that boasts breathtaking views of Lake Geneva. The first club of its kind for the Swiss city, The Well Geneva will sprawl across 30,000 square feet and will focus on physical recovery due to its proximity to the Alps. It will feature an indoor swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and a private outdoor garden terrace. The facility is also designed to foster community and collaboration with its social spaces, coworking areas, various outdoor terraces, and cafe services. A specialised Ski Injury Clinic will also be established to provide targeted injury prevention and recovery services, catering to visitors of nearby ski resorts.

Membership at The Well Geneva will offer personalised health coaching, pairing each member with a dedicated health coach to set and achieve personal wellness goals. This holistic approach ensures that wellness integrates seamlessly into everyday life. Moreover, drop-in experiences will be available for hotel guests and local residents, enhancing accessibility to the club’s services.

“Switzerland has been a leader in providing holistic health and wellness ‘as a destination’ for decades,” said Kane Sarhan, Co-founder & Chief Creative Officer at The Well. “We are excited to bring our urban model to the heart of Geneva to service locals who want to put wellness at the centre of their lives and guests who are visiting us on business, pleasure or for an extended stay.”
