Rihanna Is the New Face of Dior J’Adore
For twenty years, Charlize Theron has been the face of Dior’s J’adore, her presence synonymous with the fragrance’s captivating allure. Now, as Theron embarks on a new chapter as Dior’s ambassador for high jewellery and skincare, the reins of J’adore pass to a new icon: Rihanna.
Rihanna is no stranger to the world of beauty, having established her own globally successful brands–Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and most recently, Fenty Hair. Now, the Grammy Award-winning singer and entrepreneur will grace a campaign for Dior’s bestselling scent, shot by renowned photographer Steven Klein.
“Being the new face of J’adore is both an honor and a mission,” expressed Rihanna. “This scent, that I have known and loved for so long, means so much to women. I am especially looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity.”
Launched in 1999, Dior J’adore is an elegant fragrance that quickly became one of the brand’s most popular and iconic scents. The composition is a celebration of femininity, opening with playful notes of pear, melon, peach, and citrus before blossoming into a floral heart of jasmine, rose, plum, and lily-of-the-valley. Warmth and depth come from base notes of musk, vanilla, cedar, and blackberry.
J’adore has always championed the powerful, independent woman, and Rihanna perfectly embodies that spirit.
