Olaplex Moves Into Performance Styling With Shape Set Hairspray

Olaplex is moving into performance styling with its new Shape Set Hairspray. The fine mist is designed to give flexible hold without the usual crunch, while the brand’s Bond Set Technology works inside the hair to help relink broken disulfide bonds as you style. It also promises up to 96 hours of hold and frizz control, plus heat protection up to 232°C. In testing, Olaplex says breakage was reduced by 60% after one use. Read the full details here.

SkinBerry Debuts With Skincare Designed for Developing Skin

SkinBerry has just launched in the US with skincare made specifically for tweens and teens. Designed for ages 8 to 18, the brand keeps things deliberately simple, focusing on hydration and barrier support and leaving out the strong actives found in adult skincare. Its debut Glow Ritual range has three products, all formulated with SkinBerry’s Signature Berry Blend, a mix of eight antioxidant-rich berries. There is the gentle foaming cleanser, the lightweight gel moisturiser, and the cooling hydration mask. Each product is fragrance-free, EWG-verified, dermatologist-tested, paediatrician-tested, and available at skinberrybeauty.com.

New Skincare Brand Alchemy 21/12 Launches

New skincare brand Alchemy 21/12 has launched in the US with a barrier-first approach to ageing skin. Founded by Jen Valenti after changes to her own skin during perimenopause, the brand is built around four steps — Hydrate, Calm, Strengthen, and Signal — with the idea that skin should be supported before stronger actives are introduced. The eight-product lineup includes a barrier cleanser, PDRN serum, peptide creams, toner, resurfacing polish, and hair and scalp serum. Formulas are vegan, fragrance-free, retinoid-free, and made in the US, with prices starting at $36.

Osier Lands at Nordstrom

Osier has just arrived on nordstrom.com. The skincare brand was founded by Cheree Ashley after her own experience of addiction and recovery, and its products are built around skin that can feel out of balance during difficult periods in life — think dehydration, puffiness, rosacea, and skin picking. Nordstrom is carrying Brighter Days Vitamin C Serum, Comeback Cleanser, and Balance Toner, with Osier donating 10% of proceeds to programmes that support people on their recovery journeys.

Particle Makes Its In-Store Debut at CVS

Particle has made its brick-and-mortar debut, with its Gravité Cologne now available at more than 500 CVS locations across the US. The $89 scent is the first Particle product to make the jump from online to physical retail, giving shoppers a chance to try the men’s grooming brand in person. There’s more coming later this year too: a CVS-exclusive Gravité Gift Set, pairing the cologne with the brand’s deodorant, will launch in November.
