Chanel has announced Gracie Abrams as the face of Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, the newest fragrance in its Coco Mademoiselle collection. It’s a natural next step for the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, who became house ambassador last year and recently starred in both the Spring-Summer 2025 Pre-Collection and the Coco Crush jewellery campaigns.

Now she’s stepping into one of the world’s most recognisable fragrance franchises.

“It’s unreal to be the new face of Coco Mademoiselle, I feel an immense sense of pride. I love that Coco is someone who leaves a mark everywhere she goes. Sometimes, I wish I could be more like her,” said Abrams.

Following the release of her chart-topping album The Secret of Us and its runaway hit single “That’s So True” — which spent five consecutive weeks at number one in the UK — Abrams has spent the last year selling out global arena tours, winning New Artist of the Year at the AMAs, and opening for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

“Gracie naturally embodies the spirit of Chanel,” explained Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Head of Creative Resources at Chanel. “Like Gabrielle Chanel once did, she asserts herself without artifice, driven by a fierce sense of freedom and an instinctive elegance. There is that liveliness in her, that unfussy refinement, which recalls Coco’s modernity. It is less a matter of silhouette than of attitude. Gracie arrives where she is not expected, always in motion, charting her own path.”

Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, which launches next month, will mark the collection’s first new addition in six years. Developed by Chanel’s in-house perfumer Olivier Polge, the scent is a warmer, intensely ambery reimagining of the original. It opens with fresh, bright notes of grapefruit and lychee, layers in classic rose and jasmine, and finishes with a deep, grounded base of patchouli, vetiver, and vanilla.
