Your Next Target Beauty Haul Is About to Get Even Better
Target has finally shared all the details of its new Target Beauty Studio — the shop-in-shop concept it teased us with in spring.
Launching on 10 September in more than 600 stores across the US, the new space is essentially a dedicated beauty playground designed to make discovering products in person fun again. We are talking a curated lineup of more than 1,600 products across skincare, makeup, haircare, body, and nails, bringing 90 prestige, emerging, and global brands together under one roof. And the best part? More than two-thirds of the brands inside the studio are entirely new to Target.
Instead of replicating your standard retail aisles, the physical space has been redesigned from the ground up to feel like a proper beauty destination. Think central tables for interactive sampling and brand storytelling, dedicated beauty advisors on hand to walk you through what’s on offer, and a section devoted to mini sizes for those of us with serious commitment issues.
As for what might make it into your basket, the curation leans heavily into the brands currently dominating our FYPs. Target Beauty Studio is doubling down on K-beauty with colour cosmetics from Amuse, Kaja, and Rom&nd, plus skin-first formulas from Purito Seoul, Dr.Melaxin, and Sungboon Editor. French nail care favourite Manucurist and Mexican beauty line Sarelly are also making their Target debuts, alongside proven skincare staples including Mario Badescu, Sunday Riley, Fur, Clearstem, and Eqqualberry.
Hair-wise, you can expect to spot Bondi Boost, Briogeo, Joico, and Nioxin on the shelves, while the fragrance corner gets an immediate upgrade with Boy Smells, Smooch, and Lake & Skye. If you are looking to extend your summer glow, the suncare and fake tan selection now features By The Beach, Bask, Tan-Luxe, and Peta Jane Beauty, alongside hair accessories from Slip, Machete, and Slickhair.
“When guests shop for beauty, they want to pick up their standbys while also exploring what’s new and trending, and Target Beauty Studio is designed with that mix in mind,” said Amanda Nusz, senior vice president of merchandising at Target. “It’s an inspiring destination to discover what’s new, now and next in beauty — and a powerful example of how our merchandising authority comes to life through an elevated guest experience.”
The full Target Beauty Studio range will also be sold online at target.com when the concept launches on 10 September.
