A.P.C. Launches Beauty Collection
A.P.C., the Parisian brand founded by Jean Touitou in 1987, is expanding into skin care and fragrance, with the launch of its ‘Self-Care’ collection.
This marks A.P.C’s first category expansion since it was acquired by LVMH-backed private equity firm L Catterton in March 2023.
Self-Care consists of six gender-neutral products designed to relax the body and mind. This includes a shower gel, body lotion, hand cream, hand soap, lip balm, and eau de cologne all priced between £15 – £65.
“In fashion as in the cosmetics industry, the balance between too much and not enough is difficult to find. It’s a real job. These six products are the best possible. They are designed to make you feel good and comfortable and help you to have a good day” says Touitou.
Products are made in French and composed of at least 98% ingredients of natural origin. Packaging is made from recycled materials and features a minimal design that embodies the simple, casual elegance A.P.C is renowned for.
All six products are perfumed with an orange blossom scent – an integral part of A.P.C’s history, having features as a signature note in its line of candles and room sprays for over 25 years.
