Donna Karan New York Launches First-Ever Fragrance Collection
Donna Karan New York, the American fashion brand synonymous with sophistication, modern ease, and innate style, has introduced its first ever fragrance collection, The Cashmere Collection.
News of this fragrance launch comes a week after Donna Karan New York was revived by its owner G-III Apparel Group.
Composed of four eau de parfums – Cashmere & Palo Santo, Cashmere & Tiare Flower, Cashmere & Wild Fig, and Cashmere & Tunisian Neroli – each fragrance in the Cashmere Collection is designed to be both unique and complementary of one another.
Cashmere & Palo Santo is an amber woody fragrance that exudes an immediate and distinctive warmth. It features top notes of golden peach, heart notes of labdanum and cashmere woods, and base notes of crisp amber, vanilla bean, and palo santo.
Cashmere & Tiare Flower is a solar floral scent that delivers a sophisticated spin on tropical freshness. It includes top notes of mandarin, lemon, bergamot, and Anjou pear, heart notes of tiare flower, jasmine sambac, and ashoka flower, and base notes of cedarwood, vetiver, Ambrofix, and vanillin.
Cashmere & Wild Fig is a floral woody fragrance that is both sophisticated and sensual. It features top notes of black pepper, and bergamot, heart notes of freesia, waterlily, rose absolute, wild fig, and bamboo, and base notes of cedarwood, salted musks, and wet stones accord.
Cashmere & Tunisian Neroli is an elegant citrus floral. It includes top notes of bergamot, yuzu, and petitgrain, heart notes of Tunisian neroli and lavender, and base notes of cedarwood and ambroxan.
Each fragrance bottle is designed to capture the feel of cashmere against the skin. The graceful, sculpted silhouette is reminiscent of fabric in flowing movement, and its weighted, magnetic gold cap connects the scent back to nature.
