Lactomedi Is Bringing the Skinification of Intimate Care to CVS

Lactomedi Products

We have mastered the multi-step skincare routine, obsessed over our facial skin barrier, and prioritised our gut health. Now, the beauty world is officially turning its attention to a different kind of microbiome.

The skinification of intimate care is well and truly here, and K-beauty brand Lactomedi is helping to bring intimate wellness further into the mainstream through its first US retail partnership with CVS, which will see the brand roll out to over 4,000 stores nationwide.

To say the brand arrives with a dedicated fan base is an understatement. The Intimate Care Gel for Women, Lactomedi’s cult-favourite, managed to sell nearly 300,000 units in 2025 alone via Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop. Its viral momentum reflects a shift in how we view wellness; consumers are increasingly treating intimate care with the same ingredient-led, preventative scrutiny usually reserved for high-tech facial skincare.

The brand’s success stems from LACTO-BVTC, a proprietary, patented probiotic complex found across its entire product lineup. The science-backed formulation is specifically designed to help maintain natural pH levels, addressing everyday concerns such as itching, irritation, imbalance, and odour.

“Real, fast relief for everyone,” said B. Lee, General Manager at Lactomedi. “We are thrilled to make our products more accessible to the public. While we know our formulations are already helping women globally, we wanted to ensure that those who prefer shopping in physical retail stores also have the opportunity to experience the relief and confidence Lactomedi brings.”

CVS shoppers can expect an edit of fan favourites. We love the Intimate Care Gel for Women, a directly applied probiotic gel designed to promote overall comfort, and the Feminine Foam Wash, a probiotic-powered, airy foam created for gentle, daily cleansing. For additional care, the Feminine Soothing Cream is a deeply moisturising treatment formulated without steroids or hormones to provide daily relief after sanitary pad use, intimacy, or waxing.

Lactomedi is now available at CVS, while those in the UK can shop the brand on Amazon.
