Kim Kardashian is Relaunching Makeup
Kim Kardashian, TV star and entrepreneur, took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the launch of her new makeup collection, SKKN by KIM Makeup.
The collection will launch with a trio of high-performance products – a Lip Liner, Soft Matte Lip Color, and Classic Mattes Eyeshadow Palette – all available in varying nude shades to match Kim’s iconic look.
“I’ve recently been taking a skin-first approach towards my beauty routine,” explained Kim on Instagram. “In developing @SKKN BY KIM Makeup, my goal was not only to create universally-flattering cosmetic essentials, but also to ensure that our products are clean, hydrating, and help improve the look and feel of skin with every wear.”
The Lip Liner is designed to define and enhance the shape of the lips for a sculpted pout. Described as having a smooth velvety texture and a smudge-resistant finish, the matte pencil comes in 15 shades ranging from light beige nude to deep chocolate nude. It is infused with organic jojoba oil and squalane to nourish and hydrate.
The Soft Matte Lip Color provides a full-coverage, airbrush finish that sits comfortably on the lips. Available in 10 shades, the lipstick is highly pigmented and features a sleek bullet shape designed to deliver a precise application free from bleeding or feathering. Its formula – rich in shea butter, avocado oil, and jojoba oil – claims to hydrate lips for up to 8 hours, offering a smooth application, and an instantly moisturised feel.
The Classic Mattes Eyeshadow Palette features 12 universally flattering warm and cool nudes that provide an airbrushed velvety finish that is smudge, fallout, and fade resistant. The lightweight formula boasts instant pick-up and superior adhesion to define, contour, and sculpt the eyes. The palette promises seamless blending for buildable wear and crease-free colour.
SKKN by KIM Makeup is scheduled to launch on January 26 at 9 a.m. PST.
