Victoria Beckham Beauty Announces New CEO

Lauren Edelman CEO Victoria Beckham Beauty

Victoria Beckham Beauty has named Lauren Edelman as its new CEO, marking a significant leadership transition at the luxury beauty brand. Edelman, who previously served as the brand’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, succeeds Katia Beauchamp, who departs after more than two years at the helm.

Edelman’s appointment comes during a period of notable expansion and momentum for Victoria Beckham Beauty. Since joining the company in May 2023, she has played a pivotal role in shaping its marketing and creative direction. Prior to her tenure at Victoria Beckham Beauty, Edelman held senior leadership positions at Rose Inc and Chanel, as well as key roles at L’Oréal and Bourjois.

“With an impressive background in luxury brands and tenures at L’Oréal Luxe and Chanel Inc., Lauren brings unparalleled industry knowledge, expertise in brand storytelling and a proven track record of delivering results across all channels,” the brand said in a statement.

Beauchamp, best known as the co-founder of Birchbox, took the reins of Victoria Beckham Beauty in August 2022. Under her leadership, the brand introduced several strategic initiatives, including the launch of its fragrance category and a subscription service for its skincare and makeup offerings. The company’s continued growth has solidified its presence in the luxury beauty market, with product innovations and retail expansion driving increased customer engagement.

Victoria Beckham Beauty’s recent success reflects its broader strategy of category expansion and retail growth. In October 2024, the brand celebrated the launch of its fourth fragrance, 21:50 Rêverie, which quickly became a best-seller within the brand’s portfolio. Additionally, Victoria Beckham Beauty strengthened its partnership with skincare collaborator Augustinus Bader, launching a new concealer pen that is projected to generate $10 million in sales within its first four months on the market.

Looking ahead, Edelman’s leadership is expected to further propel Victoria Beckham Beauty’s upward trajectory. With a strong foundation in marketing and brand strategy, her appointment signals a continued focus on innovation and global growth. Meanwhile, fans of Victoria Beckham can anticipate the upcoming Netflix documentary, set to premiere in mid-2025, which will chronicle her journey from pop star to fashion and beauty mogul.
