A new skincare brand has arrived and it’s harnessing the power of an unexpected skincare ingredient: buffalo milk. Born out of a multi-generational Italian family farm, Bufarma has launched a range of skincare essentials that blend modern science with centuries-old wisdom.

For generations, the Galdiero family—pharmacists and custodians of a buffalo farm nestled in the heart of Naples—have exemplified healthy, radiant skin. Their secret lies in the daily use of buffalo milk, a natural remedy that has kept their hands and complexions soft and supple for decades. Massimiliano Galdiero, the grandson of the farm’s founder, inherited a rich legacy of skincare formulations and techniques for extracting organic essences from the farm’s natural ingredients. With a PhD from the University of Cambridge and a professorship in microbiology, Massimiliano has transformed these cherished formulations into Bufarma, a skincare line that introduces the benefits of buffalo milk to the beauty industry.

Buffalo milk, known for its rich lipid content and high levels of calcium, is a powerhouse ingredient that naturally protects and moisturises the skin’s barrier. It delivers deep hydration and nourishment, leaving the skin smooth, supple, and revitalised. Packed with proteins, minerals, vitamins, and essential nutrients, buffalo milk treats a range of skincare concerns—from dry skin and hyperpigmentation to acne and skin damage.

Bufarma harnesses the power of buffalo milk in its entire skincare range, enhancing it with other natural ingredients to maximise its benefits. Model Kiera Chaplin serves as Bufarma’s global ambassador. The Bare Skin Night Cream is another favourite, offering rich nourishment overnight to rejuvenate and restore the skin, ensuring you wake up with a refreshed and glowing complexion.

Bufarma’s products are now available online at bufarma.com and at selected UK retailers, with prices ranging from £24 to £49. Information regarding a US launch is yet to be announced.
